Team First Asia holds Christmas outreach to partner communities
Team First Asia employees made sure that the remaining days of 2020 were counted by participating in the annual ‘Pamaskong Handog ng Team First Asia’ last December 11 to 13, 2019.
The annual Christmas outreach program spearheaded by Bato Balani Foundation Inc. (BBFI) aims to ensure that the children in the network’s partner communities can also have a merry and memorable Christmas. BBFI Executive Director Ms. Natalie Christine V. Jorge emphasized that the Pamaskong Handog program is a great way to bring people of Team First Asia together through collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork while instilling the values of kindness and generosity. Through this activity, Team First Asia was able to share blessings and provide happiness and the Christmas cheer to its partner communities.
During the most recent run of this Christmas outreach, five underprivileged schools which include San Dionisio Day Care Center (Parañaque City), Emilia L. Malabanan Integrated School (Sitio Sampalocan, Malabanan, Balete, Batangas), Nangkaan Elementary School (Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas), Cupang Elementary School Annex (Sitio Sto. Niño, West Cupang, Muntinlupa City), and Diezmo Elementary School (Brgy. Diezmo, Cabuyao City, Laguna) were chosen as program beneficiaries. A total of 923 students were given personalized gift boxes sponsored by the employees of the different subsidiary companies of Team First Asia. An additional 700 students from Cupang, Muntinlupa City were given access to school kits and library materials.
Aside from the gift boxes they received, the students also enjoyed meals from a famous fast-food restaurant. They also participated in various games and activities prepared for them.
