FAITH Colleges marks its 18th year
FAITH Colleges recently celebrated its 18th founding anniversary as an innovative academic institution with new milestones and a diverse roster of events for students, faculty, and stakeholders with the theme “Transforming Ourselves.“
Along with its 18 strong years of bringing quality education for a fast-changing world, FAITH President Saturnino G. Belen announced that the school is now the largest basic education school in Tanauan City, Batangas based from the record of the Department of Education (DepEd).
Another highlight of this remarkable year for FAITH is its partnership with Tokyo Medical University (TMU) for the immersion program of TMU’s nursing students. This manifests that though FAITH is a relatively young institution, it can network and collaborate on an international level.
This year also marks the return of freshmen students in the tertiary level after the implementation of K to 12 and the completion of the NUSpace Building that currently houses students of Fidelis Senior High.
The four-day foundation celebration featured a street dance competition for tertiary and senior high school students, a cultural exhibit of ASEAN countries, a talk anchored on “ASEAN@50: Past and Present of ASEAN as a Region”, a partners appreciation event, a seminar-workshop on innovation organized by Brainsparks, a talent show, and a concert headlined by Agsunta, a Philippine independent band known for producing Original Pinoy Music (OPM) covers.
In his special message during the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Belen encouraged the entire FAITH community to transform themselves, to transform others, and eventually, to transform the world.
