Two First Asians named as TOSP Regional winners
Because of their academic excellence, leadership, and selfless service, two students of FAITH Colleges named Angelika Mae Malabuyo and Tiffany Anne Llanos were among the top 10 awardees of the 58th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) CALABARZON Regional Search.
TOSP recognizes outstanding students of the nation who have exemplified academic excellence, exemplary leadership, and deep sense of social responsibility. The program envisions to inspire youth to participate in nation-building.
This year, after a rigorous process of screening and deliberation, two students from Batch 2019 made it as regional winners. Angelika is a BS Industrial Engineering graduate who served as President of FAITH Student Council (A.Y. 2017-2018) and as Vice President of Batangas Society of Industrial Engineering Students (A.Y. 2018-2019). Meanwhile, Tiffany is a BS Nursing Magna Cum Laude graduate who served as President of FAITH Nursing Society (A.Y. 2017-2018). She also led several blood donation drives at FAITH Colleges and in different communities in Batangas.
The awarding ceremony was held last August 21 at Lima Park Hotel. Regional winners will soon undergo the national screening process and from there, the 10 national awardees will be determined and honored by the President in Malacañang Palace.
