Batangas Lakelands offers safe and fun-filled adventure packages

As the tourism industry struggles due to the pandemic, Team First Asia continues to develop Batangas Lakelands to help build a more sustainable and resilient tourism economy for the future.

Situated an hour away from the National Capital Region, Batangas Lakelands is located in the municipality of Balete, which is part of the Taal Lake District of Batangas. It is a 20-hectare active lifestyle leisure estate that offers outdoor adventure, sports, entertainment, and other nature-centric activities.

In 2019, Batangas Lakelands already launched its air, water, and land tours to introduce its network of destinations. However, due to last year’s Taal Volcano eruption, the community lockdowns, and restrictions on mobility, the management decided to suspend these tour offerings temporarily.

But with more and more people yearning for safe outdoor activities and with the easing of lockdown restrictions in some areas of the country, Batangas Lakelands launched various adventure packages that start at P400 per person.

Called the Batangas Lakelands Adventure, this half-day weekend tour includes a leisure bike ride, a bus trip aboard the Batangas Lakelands Transportation Bus (BLTB), an exhilarating boat ride on Lake Taal, and access to the picnic area. For individuals looking for more adventure, a big walking trail and a mountain bike trail are also available.

For an additional fee, guests may also enjoy archery, airsoft, car camping, kite flying, and picnics at the Daisy Huts. On a special event called the Great Getaway Weekend, guests may join exclusive activities such as basic drone flying learning sessions, remote control plane exhibition, and a helicopter tour over Lake Taal. Guests can also look forward to Batangas Lakelands’ upcoming 330-meter double zipline with facilities for rappelling and wall climbing.

Complementing the Batangas Lakelands Adventure, Limapark Hotel offers weekend staycation deals for as low as P2,000 per night. Moreover, guests may avail of an upgrade to a suite room for an overnight stay good for two (2) for only P5,998, instead of paying P13,500. This package comes with a FREE exclusive yacht cruise to and from Lakepoint Manakah, a lakeshore haven with an astounding view of Lake Taal.

All these activities follow strict measures on physical distancing and sanitation to ensure the safety of their guests. Team First Asia believes that for the tourism industry to recover, the health and safety of guests should be the top priority.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has forced everyone to make adjustments to their plans. Some industry experts believe that the travel industry will only return to 2019 revenue levels by 2024. Thankfully, our efforts at Batangas Lakelands and Limapark Hotel are more focused on domestic tourism, which we believe will recover sooner,” attested by Brian Vincent L. Belen, Ph.D., President of Team First Asia.
