Brainsparks joins Hong Kong Tech Conference

Brainsparks was part of a Philippine delegation comprised of startups, partner incubators and accelerators, and government agencies that attended RISE Conference 2019. Dubbed as the largest technology conference in Asia, it held last July 9 to 11 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Philippines' participation at the RISE Conference 2019 is one of the key projects under the Startup Assistance Program 2019-2023 by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). These government agencies have been working together to promote, assist, and support Philippine startups by implementing projects, events, and programs that facilitate tie-ups, joint ventures, or cost matching. 

The 28 Philippine startups that were part of the delegation included Aiah, Arnichem Corporation, BeamAndGo, Burket.Ph, Captivate, C Estates-Tokenized Real Estate Platform, COCOTEL, Farmwatch Solutions Inc., Hoy*, HYBrain, Hyperstacks, Insight Supply Chain Solutions, Jazzypay, Kumu Inc., MAYANI, Mosaic Solutions, Nexplay, NXTLVL Farms, NXTLVL Water, PearlPay, Prosperna, Social Light, STOCK KNOWLEDGE, StyleGenie, transitflix by GYPSY, Tudlo Innovation Solutions Inc., Wizher, and Zeend.com. Partner incubators and accelerators⁠—Brainsparks, Impact Hub Manila, and QBO Innovation Hub—were also part of the delegation. 

The aim of this delegation in future participation in similar events is to raise the level of competitiveness of Philippine entrepreneurs, founders, and startups.
