THE MANY FACES OF THE TEACHER 2017 NOMINATION OPENS

The search for Bato Balani Foundation Inc’s (BBFI) “The Many Faces of the Teacher” (TMFT) 2017 is open. In partnership with Diwa Learning Systems Inc (Diwa), BBFI through TMFT honors Filipino teachers who exemplify excellence in their profession and who drive positive change in the lives of their students and communities.

The search is open to teachers of all ages who are in private or public primary or secondary schools, colleges, and universities. Nominees should have a deep sense of nationalism and commitment to teaching. Their creativity, innovativeness, and resourcefulness should benefit the community, the country, and its people, and are shining examples for other educators to follow.

The screening committee will also look into the candidate’s values and morality; integrity in upholding the profession’s standards; relationship with co-teachers, students, and family members; and participation in civic activities.

Nominations are accepted from partner organizations, school associations, religious organizations, Department of Education, and school heads, students, and teachers.
